"My mama told me when I was young, we are all born superstars."

Hey little Monsters! New Gaga track out this morning!! I'm pretty much obsessed with it so you should be, too.

Give your ears a treat here:

I'm totally digging the 80s vibe of it.

And for those of you who missed it, Nicola Formichetti enlisted Lady Gaga to create the soundtrack for his Thierry Mugler Paris Couture week show a few weeks back, where she remixed the upcoming single. And it's AMAZING!

Check it out:

Mark your calendars for May 23 when Gaga's new album hits the street. Can't wait!

Until next time... xo

"I went to rock and roll heaven, and I wasn't on the guest list."

I'm totally one of those people who becomes obsessed with a song and listens to it over and over and over and over....I think you get the drift. This week, there have been a handful of songs that have been blowing up my headphones.

From Part 2 of her Body Talk album, Robyn's "Hang With Me" is even better than the acoustic version I love so much from Body Talk Part 1:

Not to be outdone, of course, by another foot tapping song from her previous album, Robyn:

Coincidentally, the opening act of the lovely Robyn's current tour, the first single of Kelis' new album:

Of course, I can't forget the lovely Lady Gaga's newest album of remixes, with the "Dance in the Dark" remix I can't get enough of:

And finally, for good measure, from the so bad it's AMAZING new movie Step Up 3D, Flo Rida's (featuring one of my absolute favorite DJs David Guetta) lead single from the soundtrack:

These songs will definitely continue to ease me into the weekend. And prepare to throw on my zippered leggings and get ready to dance until I can't dance any more at the Lady Gaga concert next week.

Until Next time... xo

"I know that we are young and I know that you may love me. But I just can't be with you like this anymore. Alejandro."

Hey Gaga fans! The Steven Klein directed video for Lady Gaga's latest single, Alejandro was released for our viewing pleasure today.

Part Madonna video, part war film, Steven Klein and Lady Gaga really use both of their aesthetics to bring us a fierce 9 minutes of music, dance and fashion. I'm a huge fan of his photography and so I'm not surprised I was visually pleased watching the video. His editorial featuring Victoria and David Beckham in W Magazine back in 2007 were some of my favorite celebrity fashion editorial photos.

I'm already reading about the backlash that will come about from religious groups as to most of the imagery in the video, but I guess Lady Gaga is used to this by now. I'm not sure there has been anything that she's done that hasn't caused some sort of controversy, but isn't that what artists want?

Now I want her to make a video for my favorite track on the Fame Monster, Dance in the Dark. I can see all the disco balls already!!

Until next time... xo

"My mom won't even let me watch Twilight. She says she thinks Kristen Stewart seems like a bitch."

As per usual, I thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode of Glee. I'll admit, it wasn't my favorite, but I'm wondering if that's due to the fact that I MAY have over-hyped it a bit in my head considering it was a combination of two of my favorite things of the moment: Glee and Lady Gaga. AND, I didn't even know it would include so many references to one of my other favorite things: vampires!

Let's recap the best parts of the night, shall we?

As I said before, I had no idea this episode would also include so many references to one of the biggest crazes of the moment, vampires...and specifically, Twilight. The episode starts out with Tina being called into Principal Figgins' office because he thinks she's a vampire and wants her to change her look. In the end, Tina rebels against Figgins' wishes because without her look, she feels lost. One of the best moments is when she convinces him that she and her family are indeed vampires, but not only that, her father is the head of the vampires, so he backs down and let's her dress as she pleases. Maybe Figgins should take his own advice and stop reading so much Twilight!

Moving along to my other obsession: Gaga!

New Directions' assignment this week was Lady Gaga and the ladies of the club really went all out. Who knew a bunch of high school kids were so handy with a sewing machine? With the exception of Rachel, whose two gay dads stapled stuffed animals onto a dress for her (that sounds dangerous, no?), all the girls, and Kurt, threw together pretty amazing Lady Gaga outfits overnight. All this led to the best song of the night. And, by the way, who else thinks Santana needs more solos?

Luckily for Rachel, once she realized Shelby was her mother, she was able to have her help create a much better outfit. Which brings me to my final thought. Indina Menzel and Lea Michele are both incredible singers and every time I listen to their original duet, I Dreamed A Dream, I get chills. Ryan Murphy - I have a request. Can we please keep Shelby around for a while and have Shelby/Rachel duets more regularly? Thanks!

Anyway, I really did love their Poker Face, however I couldn't help but wonder whether or not they should have done a different song. Speechless perhaps? I feel as though that song would have been more appropriate for the moment. If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure Lady Gaga wrote that song for her father. Regardless, Rachel and Shelby together created another beautiful duet that I know will be playing constantly on my iPod.

All in all, I was very pleased with the episode and I can't wait for next week. Looks like Terri will finally make her return and will surely be there to stir up trouble! And did I see that Jesse St. James will be back in Vocal Adrenaline?? Just when you think he was actually there to do good, we're slapped with cold, hard reality that he was indeed just playing a game.

Until next time... xo
