"There's nothing ironic about show choir!"

I am very interested to see who walks away with each of these awards. I think each of the categories really are chock full of amazing nominees this year. Plus, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what fashion awaits the red carpet. I have no doubt in my mind that Lea Michele will "shut it down" as Rachel Zoe always says. And I still have high hopes that my fashion fave Cat Deeley will cross the pond and show up in something stunning, as per usual. Stay tuned for a fashion wrap up in the next few days!

Until next time... xo

"Fashion put it all on me. Don't you want to see these clothes on me."

Another season of one of my favorites shows has come and gone. With a new winner crowned, the adorable powerhouse Lauren Froderman, it is time to say goodbye until 2011 to So You Think You Can Dance. While I must admit that I was hoping for my fave Kent Boyd to win the whole shebang, I was so pleased with the top 3 that any winner would have be A-OK by me.

Anyway, while I wait another year for season 8 to come, I figured I'd again dedicate a post to the lovely and wonderful Cat Deeley and the amazing style she's graced the stage with this season. Since we're going to be going into season 8, I figured I'd run down the top 8 favorite 'fits of the year, in no particular order.

J Mendel dress, Jimmy Choo shoes.

Shareen Vintage dress, Givenchy shoes.

Vintage dress, Gucci shoes.

Roberto Cavalli dress, Gucci shoes.

Matthew Williamson dress, Jimmy Choo shoes.

Vintage dress, Jimmy Choo shoes.

Elise Overland dress.

Vivienne Westwood dress.

Hopefully the lovely Miss Deeley was start showing up on more red carpets over the next few months. I don't know how I'll survive without seeing her looking oh-so fabulous on a regular basis. Hey, doesn't every girl need her own style inspiration?

Until next time... xo

"We're gonna win. You're gonna lose. Deal with it."

Today in Hollywoodland the stars of the TV universe woke up with either really good news or really bad news in the form of the 2010 Emmy Award nominations. There were two things that stood out to me: one good and one bad.

First of all, the good. I was very pleased to see all the love going out to one of my favorite new shows, Glee. Not only did Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch nab nominations for Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, in a comedy series, as expected, BUT the amazing Chris Colfer, better known as Kurt Hummel, surprised us all with a Best Supporting Actor nomination. He has been one of my favorite characters on the show from the beginning with amazing one-liners, fabulous outfits and dance moves that would make even Beyonce proud!

Plus, amazing guest stars Kristin Chenoweth and Mike O'Malley scored best guest starring nominations. Oh, and I suppose them getting nominated for Best Comedy is king of a big deal too, I GUESS..... I'm going to go out on a limb and say that while Glee MAY not walk away with all of the awards they've been nominated for, I'm not too worried that they won't walk away with a few.

Now for the bad. Every award season people always go on and on and on about the biggest "snubs" of the year. In my opinion, as an entertainment and television expert (right?!), the one person that was majorly overlooked was the always lovely Cat Deeley of So You Think You Can Dance for Best Host of a Reality Competition Program.

Not only is she the most stylish host on TV (as I've mentioned before), she is, in my expert opinion, the most honest, fabulous host on TV and one of the main reasons I tune in every week to the show. Hopefully next year, she'll get the recognition she truly deserves. Who else was completely impressed and cheering to themselves when she stood up to the judges this week for giving undue praise to certain contestants while expecting too much from others (unlike some other host's unfunny banter with one of the judges...but I'm not naming names or anything...I'm talking to you Ryan Seacrest!!)?

I guess we'll just have to wait until August 29th to see who goes home happy and who goes home "happy to be nominated among a group of such talented actors" or in other words, not happy.

Until next time... xo

"The thing is, there were only 14 other guys in my class...so it's not saying much, but I guess I'm the most popular!"

I already knew I was madly in love with the jazz dancing farm boy Kent Boyd, but last night's episode of So You Think You Can Dance really solidified every reason why! Due to this, I decided I'm going to dedicate my post today to gush about him.

I was a tad concerned when Cat announced he had pulled Anya and the Cha-Cha out of the hat, but then they rolled tape and I knew I was in for an amazing time! Not only did he really hold his own against the best female ballroom dancer SYTYCD has ever seen, he looked like he was genuinely having a blast.

See! Even Cat and the judges adore him! The question is, how on earth could you NOT?! Not only does he have amazing talent and ability, but he has personality for days. From the moment he's on stage, he exudes fun and humble (and a little nervous) confidence. I don't foresee this guy going anywhere in the near future.

I'm going to go ahead and predict the top 3 will be my fave Kent, Alex and Robert. Sorry ladies, but the only ones I was really impressed by were the all-stars. I can't wait for Travis or Sonya to get their choreographing hands on Kent and for him to be paired with Courtney or Kathryn. Hopefully one of those things will happen next week!

Until next time... xo

"I am the best goddamn dancer in the American Ballet Academy. Who the hell are you? Nobody."

Now that the 9th season of American Idol has come to an end (how AMAZING was Christina Aguilera's performance??), and my newest crush, Lee DeWyze has been crowned this year's winner, we can move on to the best show of the summer: So You Think You Can Dance!

In honor of the show's return Thursday, May 27, I thought I would dedicate a post to my favorite host on TV, the lovely Cat Deeley. Ever since I started watching the show in season 4, she has quickly become a fashion favorite of mine. She is always styled to perfection, which she does herself...a rarity in Hollywood. She has admitted herself that looking back she sometimes thinks her looks were misses, but in my opinion, she always looks great on both the red carpet (which I could probably do a whole other post about) and the show.

That being said, below I will countdown my top 10 Cat Deeley looks over the past few seasons:

10. Sleek in purple Balenciaga dress and DSquared2 platforms

9. Sparkly in a Matthew Williamson mini dress and Sergio Rossi heels

8. Wild in a vintage tiger dress and Camilla Skoovgard heels

7. Bright in a Yigel Azrouel dress and Jimmy Choo pumps

6. Fresh in an Alexander Wang dress

5. Chic in a Jasmine di Milo dress and Alexander McQueen heels

4. Classic in an Yves Saint Laurent "Le Smoking" tuxedo

3. Perfectly tousled in an Alexander Wang dress

2. Flirty (and thrifty!) in a Zara dress, vintage Chloe belt and Christian Louboutin pumps

1. And finally, with a tie for first, modern with a nod to the 20's in a white and gold beaded flapper dress

And spectacular (and thrifty, again!) in a sequin Topshop dress and Sergio Rossi heels

I can't wait to see what she comes up with this season!

Until next time... xo
