Big news for sports fans over the past couple of days, both good and bad. Shall we start with the good? Sounds like a plan!
Today Tiger Woods announced his return to the golf world after his many "indiscretions" that were made public at the end of 2009. His first tournament back will be the Masters, April 5-11, at Georgia's Augusta National Golf Course.
Looks like Tiger's getting his life back on track. Word on the street is that he and his wife, Elin Nordegren, are even hoping to reconcile. Let's hope for her sake his sexual addiction therapy sticks.
Now for the bad news.
David Beckham's hope to become the first English man to compete in four consecutive World Cups came to a crashing halt on Sunday night.
While playing a game with AC Milan, Beckham ruptured his Achilles' Tendon, keeping him from playing for the majority of the 2010 season. Not only will this injury affect the British World Cup team, but also his MLS team, the LA Galaxy, which he was due to re-join after the World Cup ends. Sorry ladies! No shirtless celebrations this year.
Well, sports fans. There you have it. The good, the bad and the not so ugly.
Until next time... xo
